Metadynea summed up the results of charitable initiatives in 2023
Active involvement in charitable activities is a long–standing tradition of the Metadynea company and at the same time is a strategic setting for all companies of the Metafrax holding, embedded in its philosophy.
"In their activities, the enterprises of the Metafrax Group of companies consistently adhere to the principles of sustainable development," explained Armen Garslyan, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Territory, First Deputy Secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia Party. – This is reflected both in initiatives to improve the environmental situation in the territories of presence, and in the social policy of companies, including in the field of charity and patronage.
In 2023, Metadynea took part in a variety of charity projects and actions. In the city of Orekhovo-Zuyevo (Moscow region), during the year, assistance was provided to the local branch of the All-Russian Society for the Blind, the City Council of Veterans, gymnasium No. 14 and the Society for Assistance to Homeless Animals "Let's be Kinder". On Children's Day, the annual action "Hooray, ice cream!" was held for pupils of the Solnechny Family and Child Development Center for special children.
A new direction of the company's work in the field of charity was the socially oriented project "Mother of a special child" jointly with the Solnechny center. An interactive exhibition of photographs dedicated to families with special children of the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky city district was held in Orekhovo-Zuevo and was aimed at drawing the attention of residents of the city to the problems of adaptation of special children in society and their interaction with other people. Six families of pupils of the Solnechny Center took part in the creation of the photo exhibition. Each of them shared their story through a video message integrated into the photo portraits. The company "Metadynea" sponsored and co-organized the project, the site and interactive program were provided by the Palace of Culture "Dream".
Since 2023, Metadynea has been implementing practices for the purchase of representative products in charitable societies and foundations that support people in difficult life situations. One of these projects was the joint work of the company "Metadynea" and the social workshops of the Family Support Center "Downside Up" (Moscow ), providing professional psychological and pedagogical assistance to families with children, adolescents and young people with Down syndrome. As part of the project, a unique series of notebooks dedicated to chemistry has been developed and released. The production included not only the process of collecting notebooks, but also the creative solutions of the "Downside Up" wards working in social workshops. At the first stage of the project, the participants drew how they represent chemistry, science and industry. Next, the team adapted the results of the work embodied in the drawings. The assembly of notebooks became an active stage for the foundation's wards. The specialists of the center accompanied the children throughout the manufacturing process and helped them complete the full cycle of work.
As part of the Metadynea company's policy of cooperating with local educational institutions and supporting children's interest in chemistry and science, the company donated funds to Orekhovo-Zuyevsky school No. 12 for the purchase of an expanded digital chemical laboratory with additional sets of chemical reagents and utensils. This equipment is designed specifically for laboratory and practical work within the framework of an in-depth chemistry study program from grades 8 to 11, the organization of elective courses, extracurricular, educational, research and project work.
One of the largest and most extensive projects has traditionally been the New Year's charity campaign "Metadynea". This year, more than 600 New Year's gifts from the company were received by pupils of the Solnechny Center, children from low-income and multi-child families of the city. Gifts were also given to the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Orekhovo-Zuyevo.
Participation in the New Year's campaign was also organized in Gubakha (Perm Region), where one of the production sites of Metadynea is located. Sweet sets and gifts were handed over for pupils of the city's special comprehensive boarding school - for children with disabilities, children from multi-child and low–income families. During the year, Metadynea contributed to the development and support of the Gubakha regional Business Incubator.
- Our employees are residents of the regions where our company operates. Therefore, we are aware of the importance of our contribution to support local socially important projects and people in need of help and attention. Over the past year, our activities in this area have expanded and been marked by new projects. We have received a lot of positive feedback from the participants and intend to continue this work this year," said Igor Spasskiy, Managing Director of Metadynea.
