Metadynea has conducted the first cross-audit of Roshem holding

From 19th to 23rd of May 2025, a cross-audit was conducted at Metadynea's production site - the first such event among the companies included in the scope of Ruschem JSC. The audit covered issues of labour safety, industrial and fire safety as well as environmental protection.
The audit was attended by specialists and managers from various subsidiaries of the holding, who are responsible for the following areas: labour safety, industrial and fire safety, and environmental protection. The series of events is aimed at systematically developing improvements in the safety culture. The audit was supervised by Aleksandr Shchors, Deputy General Director of Ruschem for Labour Safety, Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection.
The goal of the audit was not only to study the applied technologies and practices at Metadynea's site, but also to share experiences, ideas, and approaches. The participants were divided into four work groups — on labour safety, industrial safety, fire safety and environmental protection. Over the course of two days, they evaluated the functioning of the labour and industrial safety management system, identified potential areas for improvement, and noted strengths that could be adopted in other organisations.
- It is important to note that the audit was conducted in an atmosphere of transparency and partnership, - noted Aleksandr Shchors at the end of the event. - The specialists have not only assessed the situation, but also held a professional dialogue, and shared their best practices and proposals. This became possible due to the fact that the event was originally conceived as a "cross-audit" - when auditors themselves work in related fields at other enterprises and understand the specifics well.
A separate block of the program was a meeting dedicated to strategic objectives in the areas of labour safety, industrial and fire safety and environmental protection (HSE). The discussion lasted two days. The participants discussed and approved a functional strategy for development until 2035, with the aim of becoming one of the top 12 best chemical companies in the world in terms of industrial safety and minimisation of environmental risks. In addition, a common approach to the regulatory staffing of HSE services was developed, taking into account legislation and the principles of forming unified functional budgets for these areas. Moreover, other important issues related to the preservation of employees' health and the safe operation of facilities were considered in detail.
Metadynea became the first company included in the scope of Ruschem JSC, where such an audit was conducted. This event was the start of the annual inspection program at all subsidiaries of the holding, which will be held according to the approved schedule.
